Scale-Up & Transfer
We help advance biologics processes from development into larger-scale production through structured scale-up and technology transfer.
SysGene connects upstream production, downstream purification and analytical assessment to support progression across scales. Our scale-up capabilities extend from development-scale systems to microbial fermenters at 30 L, 100 L and 1,000 L, with 5,000 L capacity planned.
Each programme considers how changes in equipment and operating conditions affect process performance. We assess productivity, recovery and product quality to guide scale-up decisions, identify potential bottlenecks and define suitable operating ranges.
Technology transfer is tailored to the receiving facility’s equipment, capabilities and process requirements. We support the preparation of process descriptions, operating procedures, batch documentation and analytical methods, providing the receiving team with the information needed to implement the process.
Through technical collaboration, training and troubleshooting support, we help customer and partner teams establish the transferred workflow. Agreed transfer activities and acceptance criteria provide a clear basis for evaluating process performance and reproducibility at the destination facility.
